Scout — the AI sales development rep that builds your pipeline
Scout is a managed AI employee for prospecting. He searches the open web for companies that match the buying signals you care about, researches each one, scores it against your rubric, finds a contact you can actually reach, and writes the qualified result into your CRM with the evidence attached. Outreach copy is drafted for you to approve before anything leaves the building.
Scout costs $1,499 per month per employee, or 15% less paid annually. He is priced above Rosie because live web research and enrichment genuinely cost more to run — and that cost is metered per task so you can see exactly what pipeline generation is costing you.
What Scout does every day
Scout works from a written definition of your ideal customer and a scoring rubric you control. When the rubric changes, his output changes the same day.
- Discovery: finds companies showing the signals you defined, such as hiring for roles your product replaces.
- Research: reads the company site, job posts and public sources, and records what he found with links.
- Scoring: ranks each lead against your rubric and archives anything below your threshold instead of burying you in noise.
- Contact finding: identifies a reachable decision maker rather than a generic info address.
- CRM writing: creates the lead with company research, open positions and freshness dates attached.
- Outreach drafting: writes the first touch and follow-ups, held for approval by default.
Safety and control
Scout does not send cold email on his own authority unless you explicitly grant it, does not scrape behind logins, and does not delete or overwrite CRM records that a human owns. Stale research is flagged: positions older than forty days are marked inactive so they never inflate a score. Every discovery run, every model call and every token is logged, and a daily cost ceiling pauses him rather than letting a bad query run all night.
Getting started
During onboarding you describe your market, your disqualifiers and how aggressive scoring should be; we translate that into thresholds for you. Scout is live within 48 hours. If your bottleneck is administrative rather than commercial, look at Rosie; if it is creative production, look at Maya. Data handling is documented on the security page.
